MSO names concertmaster
A Vet Violinist Takes the Lead
The Manassas Symphony is delighted to announce the naming of Dr. Daria Olinger as the MSO’s first new concertmaster in 20 years, replacing the recently retired Emil Cheytanov.
Dr. Olinger, a small-animal veterinarian in Dumfries, has been playing the violin for 20 years. She grew up in Roanoke, VA, and attended Virginia Tech. Daria has most recently been serving as MSO's principal second violinist.

Critically-Praised Pianist Headlines May 3 Concert
World-Touring Concert Pianist Takes Stage with MSO
Praised by the Palm Beach Daily News for her “fluent technique, sensitive musicianship, and probing intellect,” Dr. Catherine Lan has performed extensively across Asia, Europe, and the U.S. She will perform Johannes Brahms' monumental Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor with the Manassas Symphony on Saturday evening, May 3.
