Thomas Se-Roam Kim, is a seventh grader attending Ronald Reagan Middle School in Haymarket, Virginia. Thomas started violin lessons at the age of 6 and has been playing off and on ever since. He currently studies under Dr. Ae Young Sun in Fairfax, Virginia. Shortly after he started his violin lessons, he became equally interested in playing the piano after noticing the violin/piano duet parts in his lesson books.
Thomas started his piano lessons that following year, in which it became his primary instrument. He plays piano at a competitive level, participating in various competitions resulting in many successful outcomes. He has performed at several venues such asthe Carnegie Hall at Weill Recital Hall in New York, Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York and the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Thomas finds the demand of juggling between his school and his passion for his two instruments very challenging, but he wouldn't have it any other way.
