broaden his experience with other musicians. He also has attended several Summer Band Camps including JMU
Marching and Concert Camps, GMU Concert Camp, WVU Brass Academy, and the National Jazz Workshop held at
Shenandoah University. This past year as a Junior, he auditioned statewide and earned 5th chair with the
All-State Virginia Jazz Band, one of only eight students selected. He also placed first trumpet for his
local All-District Band, All-District Jazz Band, Tri-County Band, and All-County Jazz Band. Levi is also
honored to receive the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award from Kettle Run High School.
In addition to his music studies, Levi is a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society and the National Honor
Society. Upon graduating high school, Levi plans to attend a 4-year college and will continue his passion
