Angelina Seamster is the featured cello soloist for Reflection and Hope, the
Manassas Symphony's season-ending concert on May 7, 2022 at 7:30 PM. She is playing Joseph Haydn's
Cello Concerto No. 1 in C Major, Hob. VIIb/1 .
Angelina Seamster is a senior at Colgan High School for the Fine and Performing Arts in Manassas where she
studies cello in the Performing Arts Orchestral specialty program. She has performed with the Manassas
Symphony Orchestra since 8th grade and has also performed with the American Youth Philharmonic in Fairfax.
Angelina was a member of the All-Virginia Orchestra in 10th, 11th and 12th grade and the NAfME All-National
Orchestra in 2021. She has attended many orchestral programs such as the Sewanee Summer Music Festival, the
Eastman Cello Institute and the Online Solo Strings Intensive. Angelina currently studies with Kenneth Law
and plans to study cello performance with Dr. Natasha Farny at SUNY Fredonia in the fall. She lives with her
family in Manassas.
