Heidi Wolterstorff Sturniolo is a graduate of The Cleveland Institute of Music where she earned her M.M in Harp Performance. She also holds a B.M. from the University of Michigan School of Music. Ms. Sturniolo is an active performer both as a recitalist and orchestral player. She has appeared as a soloist with the University of Michigan Symphony Orchestra and has performed with numerous ensembles, including the Grand Rapids (MI) Symphony, the Virginia Symphony and the Washington Metro Philharmonic. She also participates in many recital series in both Michigan and Maryland.
In addition to performing Ms. Sturniolo also teaches harp lessons and writes for the Harp Column, a nation-wide harp magazine. Ms. Sturniolo is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan and currently resides in the D.C.-Baltimore area. |

Claire Sutherland has been the Principal flutist with the NOVA Manassas Symphony Orchestra since 1996. She is a graduate of the Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford, and holds a Bachelors degree in Arts Management. Following graduation, Ms. Sutherland held the position of Operations Manager with The Fairfield Orchestra (CT) and worked with many guest artists such as Alicia de Larocha, Andre Watts, Itzhak Perlman, Richard Stoltzman, and Dawn Upshaw among many others. Upon moving to Virginia, Ms. Sutherland worked at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in the Education Department.
Currently, Ms. Sutherland is a stay at home Mom for three boys. She keeps involved in the arts world by performing in the symphony, The Fairwinds Quintet, and Old Bridge Chamber Orchestra, teaching private flute lessons, and writing grants for local non-profit performing arts organizations. Ms. Sutherland recently began studying for a Masters degree in Arts Management at George Mason University. She currently studies flute with Judy Lapple. |

Emil Cheytanov has a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Violin Performance from the National University of Music in Bulgaria. He has been teaching for over 20 years in Bulgaria, Portugal, Czechoslovakia, and the US. His performance experience includes the Portuguese National Symphony Orchestra, Lisbon; the State Symphony Orchestra in Bulgaria; the State Symphony Orchestra in Pilzen, Czechoslovakia, and other international orchestras.
Currently, Mr. Cheytanov is the concertmaster of the NOVA Manassas Symphony Orchestra. He is teaching strings at Rippon Middle School in Woodbridge. |
